Character Relationships

Just a few opinions and facts on the relationships of the characters Aya and Ceres with the other various characters in the Anime/Manga.

Aya Mikage

Aki Mikage - Aya's younger twin brother. They loved each other very much, but on their 16th birthday they soon learned that their family would be torn apart and that their destinys would be forever changed and sent into seperate paths. He ends up disliking Aya alot because of who she turns out to be and how that effects him in a whole, meaning he's scared of her alter self ending his life.

Ceres - Aya is the reincarnation of the celestial maiden, Ceres. She carried Ceres around inside of her and never knew about it until her 16th birthday. Ceres is very destructive and demands the return of her feathered robe. With Ceres she finds her life becoming harder and harder then what she ever wished it to be. Ceres is the total opposite of Aya. Aya being nice, sweet, and kind natured.. Ceres is more like a sexy magnent for trouble, and she can reap her own destruction as well.

Shisu - The man who eventually would ruin Aya and Aki's lives. Aki is Shisu's reincarnation. He comes out when he feels that Ceres is near. He knows that Ceres is his woman and will do anything to get his hands on her and make her come back and be his forever. He even ends up kissing Aya as Aki because he sensed Ceres within this body, even though it was only Aya standing there and not Ceres.

Tooya - Aya's savior and becoming protector. Even though he was trained and hired to eliminate Aya from the Mikage family once they had learned if she possessed the powers of the Tennyo or not. He follows her and protects her and even falls in love with her. He is a stranger to even himself and doesn't know where he came from. What he doesn't know may hurt him, for his past is more important then anyone ever realized.

Kagami Mikage - A very deceitful and sly man who trys to use Aya as a subject for finding out how to create a race of supreme beings using the Tennyo and Ceres' Hagoromo. He is the one that seeks Aya for something other then her eminant death.

Ceres

Shisu - Shisu used to be a very nice man who saved at Tennyo from a shark. This tennyo was called, Ceres. He gave her his robe and took her home. One day their village was attacked and Shisu was terribly wounded from it. She gave him some of her powers to protect their village, but like most men.. the power eventually got to him and took over his thoughts and being. He believed Ceres would leave him and so hid away her celestial robe, and became obsessed with having her with him. Making her stay inside their home, she eventually escaped to only find that Shisu came after her and had killed one of her children. She then killed him for such an act. I would think this might be the reason why she shows herself in all Mikage desendants at the age of 16. Perhaps their daughter had been that age when he killed her.

Aya Mikage - The reincarnation of her celestial self. She use's Aya's body to get what she most wants in the whole world back in her pocession. Her Hagoromo. And so she appears to Aya on her 16th birthday, forever changing the young girls life for her own purposes.

Kagami Mikage - Kagami Is utterly obsessed with Ceres. He wants to use her blood and the Hagoromo to find a way to make supreme race of beings to populate the earth.
